The Doors Are Opening

The wait is over! Prayergroup.live has opened its doors. We sent the first invitations, and the first people have started writing.

We're growing in small batches so there's always someone here to answer when you post. Every new member is personally welcomed, so you'll arrive to a lively room, not an empty one.

What's here today

The core of it is simple. You write what's on your heart: a worry, a hope, something you can't say anywhere else. Other members read it and answer, with a few words, a prayer of their own, or a reaction that simply says I'm with you.

A few things we decided early and built in from the start:

  • What you post is seen by members only. Nothing is open to the internet, unless you explicitly chose that; and nothing is sold.

  • A real person reads every post. Software helps us notice what needs attention first, but a person always makes the call. AI never writes, prays or speaks for anyone here.

  • If a post sounds like someone is in danger, crisis lines appear right away, before anything else.

  • Any tradition, or none. Pray to God, to the universe, set an intention, or just send good energy. The reactions include symbols from many traditions, not a short list someone picked.

  • You stay in control. You choose which emails you get. You can download everything you've written, or delete your account and take it with you.

  • Free, and no ads. Asking for prayer and offering it will always be free.

  • Bring people with you. Every member gets five invitations, with room to add a few words of your own.

There's also a first Spanish version, and we're building toward the accessibility standard WCAG 2.2 AA from the first screen, not as an afterthought.

What's next

Over the next three months, the work moves from one place to post toward your people, together:

  • Groups. Private spaces for a family, a circle of friends or a congregation, so the people who already pray for each other have somewhere to do it.

  • Moments that matter. The season ahead carries All Souls' Day, Día de los Muertos, Diwali, Advent, Hanukkah and the longest night of the year. We want it to be easy to gather around them, whatever your tradition.

  • Knowing when someone answered. A simple way to see what's happened since you were last here, so a reply never goes unnoticed.

  • More ways to invite. Getting someone in should take seconds.

We'll share each piece as it lands. The change log records everything we ship, and our specs are public.

Come in

If you were on the waitlist, then you can log in now. If you're new, get your invite. And if you're already here: thank you for being among the first. Write something. Answer someone. That's the whole idea.
